The origin of Lilibet's

A princess who was never intended to become queen was born here in Mayfair at No.17 Bruton Street.

You are invited to imagine what might have passed at this address, her earliest home (which is why we’ve affectionately drawn on her childhood nickname), had fate not intervened – and had the place instead been lived in through the ages until now.
